Experience law in its purest manifestation

ABOUT US

What do we do?

Established in 2018 by Gayathri Peringod, the University of Calgary Moot Court Society (UCMCS) aims to provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to explore the field of law.

The UCMCS offers a competitive avenue for students by facilitating the collaboration, training, and funding necessary for eager students to compete at local and nationwide moot court tournaments.

Events & opportunities

Come moot with us! Joining the Moot Court Society provides you with many opportunities to learn and work on oral advocacy skills, to meet and work with other students with the same interests, and to challenge your skills in tournaments.

We host and attend various events throughout the year including, but not limited to: multiple moot court tournaments (UC West Cup, Osgoode Cup, Lions Cup), networking events, moot court workshops and more!
